Creating a Parent Group in the Admin Portal

Following the steps in this article you will be able to create a Parent Group in the Admin Portal so 2 separate entities can be licked together.

1) Log into the Admin Portal using admin.loylap.com

2) Once logged in click on Merchants on the left hand menu and then 'Create Merchant'

3) From here you will be taken to the below screen. Fill out the information for the Parent Group. The fields with '*' are required fields and will need to be completed. There is also an address field which will populate by default. Change this to the primary business location.

From here click create. This will the create the parent group in the admin portal. If you search for the name of the Parent Group this should then appear as below.

Take note of the Merchant ID field on the left hand side. This will be needed as the target location for the 2 existing sites.

4) You will then need to get the Branch ID's of the sites you want to link with the new Parent account. To find a Branch ID search for the merchant and click into the merchant you want to get the Branch ID from.

Then you will want to click on Branches and you will see the below screen. The 4 digit number under the ID column on this page is the Branch ID. Repeat this step as many times as needed to gather all of the required Branch ID's

5) Once you have the required Branch ID's you will need to get them linked. Send Conor a message requesting this. You will need to ask for the Branch ID's to be linked to the Merchant ID. Example: Please Link Branch IDs '3810' & '5694' to Merchant ID '4688'. He will confirm once completed. The devices will then need to be rebooted. Now this means Gift Cards purchases from any linked Branch can be redeemed in any linked Branch rather then being site specific.
