How to check an Install on Clover Dashboard
This article will show a step by step guide on how to check new Installs on the Clover Dashboard
1)Log In to the correct region: Begin by logging into the appropriate region for your Clover account. For merchants based in the USA, use the link https://www.clover.com/developer-home/dashboard.
2)Select the App: You must select the correct app that you want to check a new install on. As you can see in the screenshot below, there are a few options to select from. In this instance we will check new installs for the Gift Cards app.
3)Overview of Installs: You will now have an overview of the amount of Installs and Uninstalls for the past 30 days. To search for a specific merchant, click on 'Explore’.
4) Search Criteria: You will now have the option to search by different criteria, such as merchant name, UUID or MID as shown in the screenshot below.
5) Using Admin Portal to search for Merchants: If you're unsure how to find a merchant's UUID, search for the business name under the 'Merchants' category in the Admin Portal. In this example, we searched for 'COFFEE COOP.'
6) Select the ‘’Branches’’ category: After clicking on the merchant's name, go to the 'Branches' category to see a list of all the different branches that a merchant has linked to their account.
6.1) The UUID for each location will be displayed under 'Merchant ID.
7) Search for Installs: Now that we know which locations are associated to which UUID, we can search for the merchant's name or UUID on the Clover Dashboard.
7.1) You will now have a list of all the installs that the merchant has done. You can see the different location UUIDs as well as the date when they installed the Gift Cards app
NOTE: Note: If you're searching for a specific UUID provided by a merchant and don't find new installs on the Clover Dashboard, it may be because the app hasn't been opened on their POS. Installation alone without opening the app won't be reflected on the Clover Dashboard.
