How to create a Franchise structure for a group of Merchants

Merchants which are separate legal entities, need to have separate MIDs as per the 'Scheme' rules on Merchant services. By setting up a Franchise parent account, individual accounts can be linked together so the parent account can see all activity

1) Go to admin Portal and create a new Merchant to act as the parent account

This access should be given to the owner of the franchise

2) Once created, go to the Franchise section of the admin portal and link the relevant merchant IDs to that new Parent Account. The Group ID is the Parent Group and the Member ID is the Group you want to link to the parent.



3) After clicking on create you should see your new Franchise created at the bottom of the list.



You'll also be able to confirm this has been set as a Franchise by checking the values at the end of the merchant page. You can also see the associated groups based on the Braches page on the Merchant Group.
