How to edit a Merchants Base Loyalty System (Credit back & Stamp)
This article will show you how to edit a Merchants reward scheme, and also differentiate between points and stamps.
1) Search for Merchant account
2) On the summary page of the Merchants account (first page), click 'info'.
3) When you're on the info page, click 'settings', the image below is the screen that you will see.
- Click 'Transaction Types' from the menu on the left of the screen.
4) On the transaction page, you will see two boxes titled 'cash' and 'stamp' - These are two loyalty types that can be applied either on their own or together, to a Merchants account. The loyalty reward type selected will then be allocated to customers that make purchases in store.
- Cash/points: This is a percentage based loyalty reward system and it is based off every €1/£1/$1 spent in store. The average percentage back is 5-10%
-Stamp: This is a token based loyalty reward system and this would be set to inventory items (generally a hot drink), when a customer has made a certain number of visits to the business and repurchased the same line item the required amount of times, they then get that item free of charge. The average is 6-8 stamps, and its generally set to coffees and tea.
5) Save the changes you've made.
