The Grow Plan adds on the ability to receives orders Online, so this section of Onboarding will focus on Creating your Inventory & managing Online Orders.
1) Sync / Create Inventory
The main aspect of Online Ordering is listing your Products for customers to be able to purchase. If you have an inventory loaded on your Clover POS then we will sync with this to automatically pull through all of your products, categories and modifiers. You can see how to sync with Clover here. If you are using a stand alone tablet for Online Orders then you will need to create your inventory within the LoyLap business portal. We have a guide here how how Products & Categories can be created.
2) Set Inventory Settings for Branches
Your Inventory will be displayed to customers based upon several factors. The opening hours of the branch as well as the prep time and dispatch methods allow you to control how soon a customer can collect their order and also cut offs for last orders of your operational hours.
There are plenty of other options as well, such as setting up the printing time of the orders you receive, tips, phone number requirements and dispatch control. We break down all of this in our section dedicated to Online Ordering here.
3) Create a Live Listing
This will take you to your Inventory to allow you to go through and create / amend items and get them ready for Online Ordering. You can customise item visibility with an image and make them only available on certain days, time periods or even dispatch methods. You can see the product customisation here.
