Completing a sale on LoyLap register with a Gift Card as Payment Method

LoyLap Register also allows you to accept Gift Cards as a payment method. Here's how you can have customers pay with a gift card

If you are not familiar with all of the features of our Register app we have an in depth guide for how to complete a sale here. This article specifically covers how a Gift Card can be used to pay.

1) After all of the items have been added to the basket, tapping on View Basket will show you the items in the Basket and allow you to proceed to checkout by tapping on 'Pay Now'

2) You'll then have the prompt for how to process the payment, be it Gift, Card or Cash. For this example we'll chose Gift.

You'll then be taken to the below screen, prompting for the card number to typed in or you can tap on the QR icon to scan the card.

You can then type in the amount you wish to redeem off the Gift Card. There is a note to advise of the basket value. The Redeem button will also show the amount that the scanned card has remaining.

3) You'll see a successful redemption message and the option to print a customer receipt.
