Creating a new Product for your Experiences Store

Following the steps in this article you will be able to create a Product for your Experiences store

1) Log into your business portal at loylap.com

2) Click onto 'Create in the top right and then 'Product'

3) Select the branch which you have established to sell 'Expereinces' online. Branches which are configured to sell Expereinces, have different setting to stand branches which sell 'Products and Services', so please ensure the Branch is correctly configured to sell Expereinces.

4) Please select if the Experience product is a 'Revenue' or 'Non-Revenue' based product. A 'Revenue' based product is a product which has a single purpose and the sale is recognised as revenue in P&L upon purchase. A 'Non Revenue' based product is a Gift Card which can be used on any product, and thus cannot be regarded as revenue until the voucher is redeemed.

5) Input the remaining details of your Experience. We do advise adding an image to the experience as we find this helps to sell this to the customer and can be done from the icon in the top right, detailed in this screenshot below. You'll need to ensure this is created on your Experiences Store. You will also want to ensure that 'Always Available' and 'Available for Ordering' are enabled. 

 

Experiences Product

Once Available for Ordering is marked, you have the option to have these available for Collection, Delivery & Fixed delivery. Only enabled these dependent on how you will be distributing vouchers for your experiences. To read more about setting up an experiences store, click here.
