Enable the Camera on Your PAX Device
If you find the camera isn't opening when you try a scan a Gift Card then try following to below steps
Here are the steps as per my chat message to you....
1) Swipe down from top of device to bring down options menu, as you might on an Android device.
2) Open Settings, which is the small gear icon top right.
3) Enter Password, which should be 9876
4) You'll then be in the Settings menu, you'll want to tap on Scan Settings.
5) Tap on the 3 dots in the top right corner of the screen.
6) Tap on the new option, 'Reset Scan Settings'.
7) Press button on Left Hand Side of device - you should see a red light on the top of the device - your scanner is now working!
If you are still having an issue after following these steps, try rebooting the device and trying to scan a card again.
