How can I generate a Gift Card Liability Report for my Business?

You will need to know the outstanding liability for your Gift Cards for your yearly VAT report.

1) Log into your business portal at loylap.com

2) Hover over 'Reports' and click on 'Gift Cards'.

3) This will take you to the below Gift Card reports page. Here you will see an overview of your Gift Cards activity for the month you are in, as well as some lifetime account statistics such as 'Outstanding Liability' and 'Expired' vouchers. The date range can be adjusted to show Liabilities in other periods also. The liability figure here is considered the total value of Gift cards (Physical and Digital) in circulation for your account. 

4) Vouchers Issued

In 'Vouchers Issued' you will get a list of each voucher sold in your business. This will also include 'Revenue Based' gift vouchers which are taxed at the point of issue and do not count towards your businesses total outstanding Liabilities. 

5) Monetary vouchers

With Monetary vouchers, you get a list of all 'Non revenue' based voucher activity in a defined Period. It will list each voucher sold and redeemed, and give overview information on the account balance. 

This report can then we exported should you wish to have an excel record of Gift Card activity in a defined period
