How to request a refund of your account balance

Generally, account balances are non-refundable (in line with standard industry practices) as loyalty credit is not redeemable for cash.

However, if you feel you have a unique case, and your account balance should be refunded to your bank account/payment card, you will need to contact the merchant directly as LoyLap does not have the authority to process a refund on their behalf. 

 

LoyLap's Terms of Service outline that is at the discretion of the merchant to refund a gift card purchased, or credit loaded to a customer's account. Further complications arise if the customer has received a loyalty bonus for loading funds, and/or if the customer has already transacted with the balance in dispute. To request a refund, please email the merchant directly, providing the following information: 

 

1) The balance on your account

2) The card type used to top up, including the last four digits of the card number

3) Expiry date on the card

4) The email address with which your LoyLap account is registered

 

If the merchant agrees to provide a refund, please allow 5-7 business days for processing.
