The Onboarding environment is designed to help new Merchants to complete account creation so that they can start transacting. Depending on your Plan, the Onboarding Environment will request different data to power the features of each plan.
After Account creation you will be brought to the Onboarding Environment.
Here all the steps for full account setup are laid out on one page, with progress bars to shows which steps are complete and which need to be completed. You can always press 'Complete this later' to dismiss the Onboarding Environment and go directly to the dashboard.
1) Design your app space
Each business using LoyLap gets a unique listing within the LoyLap app. This helps to brand your business for customers who link their Gift Cards to the app. In 'Design your app space' you will be asked to upload a Business Logo and a general picture which then are displayed to customers in the LoyLap app.
2) Add Employees
By default, the person who creates the LoyLap account for a business is allocated as an admin on the account, and by extension the default employee for the account. Should you wish you add more employees to have access to LoyLap, you can do so here by entering their work emails.
3) Configure Location
LoyLap displays all Merchants to customers easily within the app, with the focus being on Merchants closest to the customer using GPS. By setting your location correctly you ensure customers can easily find you within the LoyLap app.
4) Set up Payment Method
All accounts must have an active payment method which can be either a Debit/Credit Card, or a Direct Debit mandate for direct bank payment. When you create your LoyLap account, this information will be request, but you can also update at any time to another payment method.
5) Set up your Loyalty
In the Starter Plan, standard Loyalty software is included in conjunction to the full Gift Card offering. Should you wish to start your Loyalty program, this section will help you get everything set up for success.
6) Create Campaigns
Campaigns lets you create rewards and offers to send to customers directly in app for them to see. Examples of common campaigns include offers like 'Free Coffee on your Birthday' and 'Buy X and get Y free on next visit.
7) Create a Card Design
With LoyLap you have three options for getting cards designed and printed. You can
a) Use our design tool free of charge to design your own card
b) Order a professional design where you can instruct our designer on what you would like
c) Upload an existing card design you have already have.
8) Order Gift Cards
Once your card design is in LoyLap, you can then order your Gift Cards directly in the business dashboard.
9) Set up Payment Gateway
For Merchants looking to sell Digital Gift Cards, a payment gateway is required to accept card payment online. We have a number of Gateway integration to choose from depending on your needs.
