Setting Advanced rules on Bundles

This article will explain the Advances rules available for Bundles and how they can be used

After you've created your Bundle following the previous article How to Create a Bundle you will now be able to create your Advances rules.

1) Setting a Maximum Number of Items Redeemable Per Order

Advanced rules allow you to limit the number of items that can be redeemed in a single order. This feature is useful if you want to encourage repeat visits by preventing customers from redeeming the entire Bundle at once.

For example, if you’ve created a Bundle that offers 10 Coffees for £30, you might want to restrict customers to redeeming only one coffee per order. To set this up, simply enter '1' in the 'Max Redeemed Items Per Order' field.

2) Limiting the Number of Redeems Within a Time Period

Advanced rules also enable you to control how often items can be redeemed within a specific time frame, such as hourly, daily, weekly, or monthly..

In our example, if you want to restrict customers to redeeming no more than two coffees per day, you would select 'Daily' and enter '2' in the provided field.

You can adjust the number of redeems and the time period to suit your business needs by following the same process.

3)Setting an Expiration Date for the Bundle

With Advanced rules, you can also define an expiration period for the Bundle, limiting how long customers have to redeem their items before the Bundle expires.

You can set the expiration to occur after a specific number of days, months, or years. For instance, if you want the Bundle to expire three months after purchase, select 'Months' and enter '3'.

Alternatively, you can choose a fixed expiration date by selecting 'Fixed date' and choosing the desired date from the calendar.

4) Saving Your Changes.

After configuring your Advanced rules, ensure you save your changes by clicking the 'Update' button located at the bottom right of your screen.
