Using Our Gift Card Design Tool

Brand identity is important. It allows customer to associate images and slogans to certain companies as it grows in society and across social media. Using our design tool, you can design your cards in a way to express your business to your customers.

1) Log into your business portal over on loylap.com

2) Using the menu over on the left side of the screen, click on 'Settings' and then 'Gift card Ordering'

Then you'll want to click on the 'Design Tool' option over in the top right of the page.

3) This will then take you into the Design Suite. For this design walkthrough, we'll be using a Light Background. Go ahead and click on Use this Template on your preferred option.

4) You'll now be in the Branded Card Generator. Going through these steps allow you to design the card to your liking. Your first step will be to name the design and choose if you want the Front Logo to be on the left (A), in the middle (B) or to the right (C). The preview will update as we go along.



Our first step will be to upload the Front Logo. You can upload the image and amend the size based on the pixels required.

Add your logo via one of the above methods and you'll see it on the preview.

Now we need to upload the main back ground image. The method of adding the image will be identical to choosing your front image. It is worth noting that if the image is too large you may need to use our tool to crop the image to a certain section. Once you are happy click on the tick in the bottom right corner.



Now we'll have our front of card preview.

We can now move on to designing the back of the card, which can be useful for providing your customers additional information about the business. There is also an option to either have a design on the back of the card or to have a solid colour. In this example we'll have a solid colour.

You can now see this reflected in the preview. You will noted that the cards number, cvv and QR code are in their own section with a white background so these won't be affected.

Finally, you can now set your Text colour, font and all of the details your customers may find helpful like your website, a contact email address and phone number as well as the address of the business.

Once you are happy with these details go ahead and click on Publish in the bottom right corner. If you want to save this as a draft then this is also an option so you can finish the card last.
